Tom McKinney

With more than 40 years as performer and voice teacher, Tom McKinney has mastered “The Ease of Speech Singing” technique. He has utilized this technique with many award winning singers including Mario, Demi Lovato, Ray J, Solange, and American Idol finalists. Tom also serves as the New Talent Development Vocal Technique Instructor for Beyonce and Mathew Knowles’ recording and publishing company, Music World, in Houston.

Colleen Ashton-McKinney

With more than 30 years of professional experience as an actress, singer, and dancer, Colleen knows what it takes to capture an audience or impress a director. Her professional credits include Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, National Tours, numerous regional theater productions, and film and television appearances.

Lisa Apple

Music and performing have been a part of Lisa’s life from an early age. Growing up she performed in several Dallas venues, including the Dallas Theatre Center.

Amanda Earhart

Amanda has been Tom McKinney’s associate teacher fro more than 5 years After being voted three consecutive years as Female Vocalist of the Year under 16, she was the youngest ever at age 14 to be inducted into the Opry Hall of Fame.

Brett Manning

Brett has become a master teacher and one of the world’s most sought after vocal coaches. He teaches voice in his Nashville studio to singers of all genres. He is also a Judge/Mentor for the new CMT music television reality show, "Can You Duet" and is currently working with Tom on an instructional program for theater and opera.
